Capacity withdrawal from fossil fuel sectors like coal, oil sand and Arctic drilling will be a “contagion” that will seep into the wider insurance marketplace as environmental, social, and corporate governance (ESG) climbs insurers’ agendas, according to Willis Towers Watson’s global natural resources head Graham Knight.
