‘Optimism’ in aviation insurance, but negotiations will be tough: AJ Gallagher

The airline insurance market has cause for “optimism”, with overall losses falling in 2020 and capacity potentially returning, though it faces another “tough year” of negotiations, according to AJ Gallagher.

In its Plane Talking report, the broker said overall loss levels for 2020 were below average but noted that these losses did not fall proportionally with reduced operations due to Covid-19.
