Pan-African reinsurance MGA Africa Specialty Risks (ASR) has appointed former Axa XL underwriter Zouheb Azam as its head of political violence, war and terrorism.

Azam worked at Axa XL as a political violence, war and terrorism underwriter for just over four years. Prior to that he was a senior political violence and terrorism broker at Willis Towers Watson for nearly three years.
