New Axa XL parent reinsurer garners A+ FSR rating from AM Best

Axa XL has secured an A+ financial strength rating from AM Best and an AA- FSR from Standard & Poor’s (S&P) for a new Bermuda-based entity that will serve as the lead reinsurance company in its corporate structure.

AM Best said the reorganisation at the Axa-owned carrier to create the unit effectively consolidates all its reinsurance operations under a single entity.
