ICA ups Queensland and NSW floods claims estimate to A$438mn

The estimated insured loss from flooding in New South Wales and Queensland has risen to A$438mn ($334mn), according to the Insurance Council of Australia (ICA).

In an update the ICA said that carriers had received around 29,213 claims so far for flooding that has been labelled as the worst in the region for 60 years.
