Axa hires ex-Generali’s de Courtois as co-deputy CEO and switches CFO

Axa has hired former Generali general manager Frédéric de Courtois as one of two deputy CEOs and announced a CFO change in a management reshuffle designed to support the carrier’s new strategic plan.

Group CFO Etienne Bouas-Laurent will become CEO of Axa Belgium from the beginning of July, with group chief risk and investment officer Alban de Mailly Nesle taking the top finance job whilst continuing to lead group investments.
