Tokio Marine has been shortlisted alongside Insurance Australia Group and Suncorp for Commonwealth Bank of Australia’s (CBA) general insurance business, according to reports in outlets including the Australian.

The outlet said QBE was also among the bidders, though its involvement was less certain.

CBA has been selling assets to focus on banking.
