IGI is set to launch into the contingency market and has appointed underwriter Emily Clapham to lead the entry into the class, Insurance Insider can reveal.

The carrier is the latest business to scent an opportunity in the contingency sector, which has been one of the most heavily affected by the Covid-19 pandemic.
