Moore, who will start work in the third quarter of the year, was previously chief underwriting officer at CatCo Investment Management in Bermuda, after joining Markel CatCo as a senior underwriter in 2015. He has nearly 30 years’ experience in broking and underwriting in London and Bermuda.

Moore began his career working for several Lloyd’s syndicates, before moving to Aon as an account manager and loss modelling analyst in its North American property treaty business.
