Aegis London reports near-doubling of 2020 profit and 91.6% CoR

Aegis Syndicate 1225 has reported a 94% increase in profit in 2020, with earnings rising to £60.3mn ($84mn).

The combined ratio improved by 5.2 points to 91.6%. The figure included a £12.3mn net Covid-19 loss provision.

CEO David Croom-Johnson said the results build on a strategy of “disciplined profitable growth”.
