Beazley has announced the departure of Andrew Horton as CEO to take the helm at QBE, with current CUO Adrian Cox lined up as his replacement.

Horton has led the London-listed insurer since 2008, having joined as CFO in 2003.

He will remain at the carrier until the end of the month, with Cox taking over as CEO on 1 April.
