Brit is bringing together its US subsidiary Brit Global Specialty USA with arm Ambridge to create a $560mn premium business that will write on both Brit paper and third-party capacity.

The combined business will operate as Ambridge Partners, running a $450mn book of US business, alongside a $110mn premium international arm.
