Lancashire has hired Axa XL’s former global energy CUO, Huw Jones, to the newly created role of group head of specialty effective immediately.

Jones left Axa XL in October last year, along with global specialty COO Jonathan Ibbott, vice president and Canadian aviation manager David Watts and Canada CEO Urs Uhlmann, amid an ongoing reorganisation of the business.
