Integro parts company with Canada chief

Integro Insurance Brokers has parted company with John Chippindale, the managing director and president of its Canada operation, The Insurance Insider can reveal.

Robert Dunn, who ran the firm’s Montreal office, takes the reins in the position of office leader and chairman of Integro (Canada) Ltd, as its headquarters in the country moves from Toronto.

Chippindale joined the broker in June 2005, soon after its launch, and was one of a legion of senior executives to be hired from giant rival Marsh, where he had previously held the position of president and CEO of its Canadian operation.

According to sources, Chippindale left Integro in mid July after a “difference of opinion” on future strategy at the firm’s Canadian operations.

Former Willis Canada executive Dunn – who joined Integro in September 2005 – “directs business strategy and resources” from Integro’s Montreal office, according to the company’s website.
