As predicted by our sister publication Insider Week, Ewen Gilmour, the chief executive of quoted Lloyd’s insurer Chaucer plc, was appointed deputy chairman of Lloyd’s when the Society’s ruling body, the Lloyd’s Council, met earlier this month.
