Fosun most likely to acquire Montpelier Re

Chinese conglomerate Fosun is the favourite to acquire Bermudian property catastrophe specialist Montpelier Re, following an auction.

Final bids in the auction, which was run by investment bank Credit Suisse, were due in the week beginning 9 March.
