Specialty MGA Elseco has agreed to buy Malakite Underwriting Partners, a Dubai-based coverholder, from StarStone.
The transaction includes an alliance between the specialty MGA and StarStone, with the Enstar-owned insurer continuing to supply space, aviation and energy underwriting capacity to Malakite directly and via third-party fronting arrangements.
