Fitch upgrades MSI’s financial strength rating

Fitch has upgraded Mitsui Sumitomo Insurance’s (MSI) financial strength rating to A+ from A.

It also affirmed MSI’s issuer default rating at A and its subordinated debt at A-, while removing its “under criteria observation” status on the ratings.
