Liberty Mutual has signed an agreement with AmTrust to buy its global surety and credit reinsurance operations.

Liberty will acquire four AmTrust businesses: AmTrust Surety, AmTrust Insurance Spain, Nationale Borg and Nationale Borg Reinsurance.
