Enstar will reinsure $500mn of Zurich’s legacy asbestos and environmental (A&E) business comprising a number of US portfolios. 

Enstar’s subsidiary will assume the gross insurance reserves for business relating to 1986 and prior years, the runoff insurance group said today.
