Talanx grew its Q2 group operating profit by 1.3 percent year on year to EUR628mn ($703mn), as loss creep from Typhoon Jebi in its P&C reinsurance arm offset underwriting improvement in the industrial lines division, which is pressing ahead with restructuring.
