InsurTech Kin raises $47mn for Florida carrier launch

InsurTech Kin Insurance has fundraised $47mn (£38.3mn) to launch a Florida insurance carrier, Kin Interinsurance Network.

New investors included ILS manager Hudson Structured Capital Management Bermuda as well as Avanta and the UChicago Startup Investment Program.
