RSA has received around 25,000 valid Covid-19-related claims that will amount to estimated losses of £25mn ($31mn) net of reinsurance.
The insurer said in its first-quarter update that it had reserved an estimated £17mn for certain BI claims but that the “great majority” of BI claims are not valid.
