Munich Re resets major loss expectation as PMLs have grown

Munich Re has lifted the projected share of major losses in its target combined ratio by one point to 13%, as its one-in-200-year exposure to hurricane risk has grown in the past year.

Earlier today the reinsurer posted its full-year results, in which it reported a P&C re consolidated profit of EUR648mn ($735mn), a six-fold increase year on year.
