Chaucer has appointed Mike Smith from Willis Towers Watson to head up a new marine specialty division.

The marine specialty unit will comprise marine PI and transport logistics business, freight forwarder cover, and Lonham, Chaucer’s specialty cargo, freight and logistics liability insurer based in Ipswich.
