UK Covid BI claims accepted by carriers jump by 7.5%

The number of Covid-19-related BI claims accepted by insurers has jumped by 7.5% in the past month to reach 40,531, according to the latest Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) data.

The monthly dataset shows a significant uptick in the rate of claims acceptances.

From April to May, the number of claims accepted increased by 2.8%
