Hurricane Demotech now appears to have fizzled out to at most a tropical storm, but like the state’s last major hurricane, Irma, it could have a long-lasting tail.

To date, just two carriers have lost their ratings: Weston withdrew its rating, and UPC Insurance was downgraded two notches to an M.
