Axis CoR falls 3.1 points to 104.3% amid property reinsurance exit

Axis Capital has reported a 3.1-point improvement in its combined ratio to 104.3%, while increasing its insurance segment gross written premiums 12% to $1.32bn, as it refocuses on specialty coverage and works to eliminate cat exposure.
