Securities class actions to rebound to 2019 levels: Inigo report

US securities class action levels are expected to rebound to pre-pandemic levels in 2022 after a lull during the last two years, with SPAC and de-SPAC claims driving litigation, according to Inigo’s inaugural D&O Defense Survey.

In a survey of the top 25 US law firms that have defended such claims, Inigo found that 74% of respondents expected securities claims to increase in 2022.
