More P&C divestitures would allay DoJ’s concerns on Aon-Willis deal: KBW

Additional large-account P&C divestitures from Aon and Willis Towers Watson would be likely to satisfy concerns at the US Department of Justice (DoJ) over the merger, and are more likely than the deal being abandoned, according to KBW analysts.

KBW said that it would be complicated to divest of further large-account brokerage, but the previously announced divestitures of Willis’s San Francisco and Houston offices suggested it was possible.
