The combined Lloyd’s loss from Winter Storm Uri could exceed £900mn ($1.3bn), based on extrapolations from figures released by Names-backed syndicates.

This figure takes figures published by members’ agent Hampden Agencies in a bulletin obtained by Insurance Insider and scales them up based on their total share of the marketplace.
