Bromley leaves Guy Carpenter

Geoff Bromley has left the global reinsurance broker, Guy Carpenter & Co, where he was chairman of the company's non-Americas operations in Europe and Asia-Pacific, The Insurance Insider can reveal.

Bromley joined the group in 1983, with CT Bowring Re in Sydney. He originally qualified as a barrister in his native Australia and previously worked for Swiss Re.

Bromley was also a member of Guy Carpenter's executive committee and the management board.

Separately, Guy Carpenter's sister company Marsh announced today that it had promoted Mark Feuer to become the chief executive of its US business, reporting to Timothy Mahoney Jr, who heads the broker's Americas division.
