Marsh-JLT Specialty has built out its UK financial and professional lines practice with the hire of MS Amlin’s Adam Wickens and Willis Towers Watson’s Brian Warszona, The Insurance Insider has learned.
Wickens, a cryptocurrency and digital asset specialist, will take on the newly created role of digital asset leader in the team. He was previously a senior underwriter at MS Amlin’s financial institutions division.
Wickens is expected to work closely with Marsh-JLT Specialty’s New York-based digital asset risk transfer team, which offers risk transfer solutions to firms operating in the blockchain, cryptocurrency, and digital asset arena.
He will report to Ariel Berman, head of financial institutions at Marsh-JLT Specialty.
Warszona was previously divisional director for cyber in London at Willis.
He is expected to join Marsh-JLT Specialty at the end of the year, and will take on the role of cyber growth leader.
He will report to Sarah Stephens, UK cyber, media and errors and omissions practice leader, who leads one of the largest cyber broking teams in the London market.
