The UK Supreme Court has ruled that UK courts have the power to strike out fraudulent insurance claims for abuse of process, but noted that this remains a "largely theoretical possibility".
The decision came in a 27 June ruling on the Fairclough Homes v Summers case, pursued by Zurich on behalf of the liability insurers for Fairclough Homes following an injury claim from a former employee.
