Willis chooses McKinsey executive to replace Plumeri

Willis Group has followed its rival Aon Corp in selecting a senior McKinsey & Co executive to head the organisation after Joe Plumeri's 12-year reign ends.

Dominic Casserley will become CEO of the global broker on 7 January 2013 after 29 years at McKinsey that has included roles leading the firm's Greater China and UK/Ireland practices.

Willis insider Steve Hearn, who was also a candidate to succeed Plumeri, will become deputy CEO while retaining his role as head of Willis...
