Bermudian carrier White Mountains has confirmed that Lloyd's has granted it approval to establish a syndicate and start underwriting on 1 July, as exclusively revealed by The Insurance Insider earlier this month.
Syndicate 1945 will have a capacity of £66mn. It will be managed by turnkey provider Whittington Capital Management, as predicted by this publication.
