White Mountains close to 2011 Lloyd’s start
Bermuda-headquartered White Mountains Re is in the advanced stages of an application to launch a Lloyd's syndicate in time to write 2011 business, The Insurance Insider can reveal.
According to sources, the reinsurer is working with turnkey specialist Whittington Insurance to provide the managing agency infrastructure for the start-up and is aiming for a 1 January 2011 start.
