The European Parliament has once again pushed back the date for
the full plenary session to consider the proposed Omnibus II
Directive to 22 October from its previous date of 10-13 September.
The date has been revised backwards several times since the
beginning of the year as negotiations between the European
Parliament, the European Commission and the Council of Ministers
are still ongoing, a spokesman for the parliament told The
