Former SVB chief exec Rupert Villers is to relinquish his job as co-CEO of Aspen Insurance to take on the new role of chairman.
Aspen Insurance's other co-CEO Mario Vitale will take over as sole chief executive on 1 July, assuming responsibility for business strategy and the day-to-day management of the primary side of Aspen's business.
Villers will also become president of Aspen International Insurance, with Vitale remaining president of Aspen US Insurance.
