Broker holding company US Risk (UK) has announced the acquisition of private specialist broker James Hampden.
Aim-listed venture capital firm BP Marsh holds a 30 percent stake in US Risk (UK), and in mid-2010 made a £1.4mn equity investment, which has partly funded the recent purchase.
London-based James Hampden is a privately owned global (re)insurance broker that operates in the Lloyd's and international markets.
