US P&C insurance rates ‘flat’ in September: MarketScout
The soft market for US P&C insurance is drawing to a close, according to the latest market barometer from broker and underwriter MarketScout, which registered rates as "Flat" for September.
The barometer measures the average P&C rate increase for the sector compared to the prior-year period and had indicated a stabilizing of price softening in recent months, recording 2 percent falls in both July and August.
