Torus hires senior duo from Sciemus
Property/casualty and specialist (re)insurer Torus has hired two senior figures from specialty managing general agency (MGA), analytics and modelling firm Sciemus, our sister title Inside FAC has learned.
Dr Sima Adhya, Sciemus' director of insurance and technical director Michael Thorp are expected to join Torus in January, market sources told Inside FAC.
It is understood that Sciemus will be enforcing the non-compete terms in Adhya and Thorp's contracts.
