A year has passed since The Insurance Insider published the 2010 Global Power & Energy Review. We are now working on the 2011 edition.

This year's review will again provide the most comprehensive and independent analysis of the main issues affecting the global energy sector. In covering key content areas, supported by relevant data and case studies, the review is proven as a powerful reference tool for leading industry figures.

The Insurance Insider will continue to inform the sector with the 2011 review, and we will also bring together the leading executives of the power and energy (re)insurance sector at the first annual Global Power & Energy Briefing on 9 March.

The event aims to highlight key areas of development in the sector, drawing upon the collective experience of top-flight insurance and energy industry experts. It will appeal to senior underwriters, leading brokers, investors and other service providers.

We are seeking partners to work with The Insurance Insider in creating the review. We have a strictly limited number of powerful advertising and sponsoring opportunities, while there is also the chance to be involved editorially (subject to the editor's approval). Please ask about these as soon as possible if you're interested.

Secondly we are seeking sponsors for the Briefing. Packages can include speaking opportunities alongside the keynote speakers Tom Bolt (Lloyd's Performance Management Director) and Tony Haywood (former Chief Executive Officer of BP).
