Insurers will benefit from a bounce in the US and global economies next year as quantitative easing programmes continue to fuel demand, according to predictions from Swiss Re.
But while the Zurich-headquartered reinsurer took a bullish stance on the economic recovery, it also warned P&C insurers that it was becoming increasingly difficult for them to generate significant investment returns.
