Sean Quinn has been ordered to pay EUR1.7bn to Anglo Irish bank, the largest judgement ever issued against in individual in Ireland that smashed the previous record set last week against the Quinn Insurance owner.
Coupled with the last week's EUR417mn judgement, Quinn is now liable for a sum in the region of EUR2.1bn.
Quinn's collapsed EUR4bn business empire at one time included insurer Quinn Direct Insurance, which was bought by Liberty Mutual after it went into administration last year...
