Ryan’s raid on CRC triggers litigation crossfire

Industry veteran Pat Ryan faces a firestorm of litigation in the wake of his audacious poaching raid on CRC, after recruiting over 100 of its staff to his start-up managing general agent.

The mass defection to Ryan Specialty Group (RSG) represents around 10 percent of the US wholesale broking giant's workforce.

Lawsuits have already been filed in Illinois, Alabama and Philadelphia over the terms of the departed employees' contracts.
