Ryan's raid on CRC triggers crossfire of litigation
Industry veteran Pat Ryan's latest business venture faces a firestorm of litigation in the wake of an audacious poaching raid on CRC and recruitment of around 100 of its staff to his start-up managing general agent.
The mass defection to Ryan Specialty Group (RSG) represents around 10 percent of the workforce of the US wholesale broking giant.
Lawsuits have already been filed in Illinois, Alabama and Philadelphia over the terms of the departed employees' contracts.
