Jamie Lewis has resigned from RenaissanceRe after the Bermudian
reinsurer replaced him as active underwriter on its Lloyd's
Syndicate 1458.
Lewis, an experienced Lloyd's underwriter who had been with the
company since 2003, was named active underwriter of the syndicate
as RenaissanceRe launched its Lime Street operation in time to
begin writing business on 1 June 2009.
According to sources, the reinsurer moved to replace Lewis as
