London-listed broker Jardine Lloyd Thompson (JLT) delivered organic growth of 6.3 percent in the first half of the year as JLT Re and its primary operations in Asia and Latin America showed robust growth.
The group's trading profit margin expanded by 90 basis points to 19.4 percent, with the broker noting that it had completed a three-year business "Transformation Programme" to take out £24mn of annual costs.
