Reinsurance chief Turner leaves Brit in restructure
Brit has parted company with its well-regarded reinsurance chief Jonathan Turner as part of plans to merge his former division with its global markets unit.
The restructure would create a single specialty underwriting franchise known as Brit Global Specialty.
The private equity-backed Lloyd's (re)insurer is in the process of selling off its UK retail business.
It said that the new combined unit will operate as a single platform with a single profit and loss centre.
